Capricorn
For the Week of March 29, 2009
Even if you do manage to drag yourself out of the house this week, Capricorn, you’re still basically going to be living inside your own head. Maybe you run into an ex, maybe it’s nothing even that physical – everything you see will just remind you of the way that things were, back some other time.
And it’s a great time to think about the past. Don’t worry about it, or try to fix it, write revisionist histories – but it’s a week where, by withdrawing, you can really mull it over and unify your image of what you’re doing today and what you want to do in the future with what you’ve done in the past. Everything’ll click together at some point, and communication might help this, though you’ll be feeling very introverted. Writing or reading – maybe going through old letters or (less romantically) emails might help you figure some of this stuff out.
If you do go out, though, make sure you look nice. No guarantees that you WON’T run into that ex. Just don’t give in to the urge to give in to the urge to get back together – that’s never really a good idea for reasons I won’t even bother getting into here
For the Week of March 22, 2009
Tell me this, Capricorn: have you been out stealing your neighbor’s newspaper? Did you “accidentally” get their Vogue and forget to return it? If yes, well. That’s very un-Capricorn-like of you and I suggest you slip whatever it is back under their door immediately. But if not, what are you so worried about?
Not that it’s necessarily going to be your neighbors worrying you this week – but you may feel inordinately judged by the outside world, particularly those with whom you’re not especially close: neighbors, doormen, that girl at the grocery store who looked at you all funny when you bought four jars of Nutella and a pack of Camel Lights. Just be as pleasant as you can be – try to stay under the radar – and by the end of the week, you’ll have forgotten all about it.
Then take a deep breath and relax. Curl up with that Nutella and turn on some old movie. Here’s a tip, though – get some toast. You think it’s a good idea to eat it straight from the jar, but it never is. And yes, that’s actually your horoscope for this week.
For the Week of March 15, 2009
It’s finally spring, but you want nothing more right now than to nest. Close the curtains, turn off your phone, shut the computer – fine. Good. Go with that. You’ll feel the temptation this week to retreat into your roots, however you view that. It’s a good time for communicating with your parents, although you may want to give yourself some space – you may feel particularly argumentative with them after a certain point.
Otherwise, there’s not a whole lot to say. Reflect on your life, where you’ve come from. When things change in the next month or so, you’ll feel a whole lot more confident about where you’re going. Try not to make too many long-term plans right now (I know this is hard for you) – you’ll almost certainly feel the need to reevaluate them, anyway.
Make your nest. Eat comfort foods. Get a lot of sleep. It’s a good time for a staycation, though I feel icky just using that word – you’ll enjoy the concept, though. I promise.
