For the Week of March 29, 2009
I’m here but I was there but then where am I going and do I actually want to do this or is this something that I just feel like I should be doing and will I look bad if I do this? Will people judge me?
Sorry, just trying to put myself in your shoes this week. Was that a pretty good impression? You’re going to be awfully curious about where your drives and plans are coming from, about who really determined them in the first place, about how much any of us can really claim individuality. The upside of this is that, by talking out future plans with your friends, you may get some excellent ideas and clues about what you want to make happen next. Don’t worry too much about whose idea it was in the first place – in the end, it’s your life, after all.
On the plus side, you’ll have a great mind for work this week, particularly where things like paperwork are concerned. Your innate curiosity is going to find a weird satisfaction in taking care of business negotiations, even the incredibly dull ones. We all have to put up with this stuff - lucky you that you’ll be able to at least tolerate it!

You know when you’re a kid and you’re going to have friends over? Maybe you’re coming down with a cold or something. Go with me here. And you get sicker and sicker but you refuse to admit it, because then it means you’re not going to play be able to play with your friends?
Home life and social life may have been kind of splintered for you lately; this may have been causing some conflict (get the metaphor?) This week, though, the happier you are with your friends, the more easily you’ll be able to translate this into peace at home. The blending of these two worlds should come naturally, don’t try to force it, though it may be a good week for that dinner party you’ve been putting off forever. Think about both your social life and your home life in terms of a greater philosophy, which shouldn’t be hard for you; then watch the peace and calm that – finally – ensues.
You’re going to be chatty, too. Man, you are going to be chatty. Well, let’s get into that a little more – your mind’s going to be going a mile a minute, which for a Gemini, basically translates to the same thing. Just let someone else cut in every now and then, particularly if you have that dinner party, and things will be just golden.

Gemini, I mean this in the nicest possible way: lighten up. You’re not usually one of the signs who needs that advice – I mean, Scorpio, yes, chill. Even Capricorn, or Virgo – calm the fuck down. But Gemini? You’re the social butterfly of the zodiac. Chat chat chat, hopping from flower to flower. But lately, work’s been getting you down.
Work’s still the focus for you right now, but it’s time to let work lift you up. While you still might have a hard time getting your ego in line with those you work with, particularly people in positions of authority, you’re finally feeling friendly again, back to your old self. This doesn’t necessarily meant that it’s party time, but it does mean that you’ll be able to bring a little of that positive energy you’ve been sorely lacking to your group involvements.
It’s a great time to plan your professional life, evaluate things, figure out where you want to be going. Talk it out. You know how it goes. Just start talking, open up those channels of communication, and you’ll find that things just sort of – lighten up – on their own.
