Leo

For the Week of March 29, 2009

Don’t you love it when everything just comes together?  When everything gradually starts to feel like part of something bigger?  Your love of beautiful things, your romantic feelings, your intellectual curiosity – all of this is going to be off the charts this week.  It might be in a more abstract sense than anything else, but that’s good – work out the patterns in your life that relate to these abstracts and move from there.

You’ll be more than happy to track down initiatives for yourself this week, find new outlets for all of this energy – books you haven’t read, plans you haven’t made, trips you haven’t planned yet (this is a great time, incidentally, for traveling – the more exotic the locale, the better – but then, that’s your MO anyway, isn’t it) .  By the end of the week, let all the energies just play out and you’ll find that everything just – yep – comes together

For the Week of March 22, 2009

To completely oversimplify life, you’ve got two kinds of people: the kind who look at the big picture and the kind who look at the details.  Leos fall firmly into the first category – you guys are the visionaries of the Zodiac.  You don’t do anything on a small scale.

And it’s that larger scale again that’s going to play a big role in your life this week.  You may start out the week with a lot of deep thoughts (not the Jack Handy kind, though those may be good to take some of the edge off) about what it means to be in love, what it means to be ALIVE (there are those big ideas again – sex, death, all of this comes into play this week – it’s all beginnings and endings, whatever that means for you).  You may have some worries about the state of your own romantic life, which shouldn’t be underplayed – however, beware of inventing imaginary phantoms.

A little introspection never hurt anyone, and as the week goes on, those fears will probably subside a little bit as you’re able to synthesize whatever’s happening with your love life with your bigger life philosophy.  Put the little things in context – that, after all, is one of the beauties of being one of life’s big thinkers!

For the Week of March 15, 2009

Leo, you’re a fixed sign.  Nice and friendly as you are, you really can be awfully stubborn about things.

That stubborness is going to be evident in SPADES this week.  This week's all about endings and beginnings for you - in that order.  So try not to cling too much to old ways of doing things, comfortable as they may be - there's a lot of exciting stuff waiting around the corner!

It’s a great time for transitions, especially transitions related to sex, travel, philosophy, and study. Pick up a sexy book, especially one with deeper themes (Henry Miller is excellent for this, though a little awkward to read in public).  Whatever you read now, be judicious about it – it’s a time of transformations and you want to guide yourself through it as intelligently as possible.

Maybe things have been shaken up a little bit lately; maybe you can’t stop talking about it.  That’s okay.  Right now, though, you’re going to enjoy focusing on the topics above – try to integrate your recent experiences into everything new you’re learning right now, and you’ll set yourself up for great success later on.
