Top Myths About Taurus
Taurus is another one of those signs who’s pretty straightforward. They know what they want, and they know how to get it. HOWEVER. These people can be so quiet, especially lacking any Gemini influence in their charts, that they’re often misunderstood.
Myth: Taurus is boring
Reality: Yeah, right. Fine food, good wine, amazing sex, a talent for building things – boring? Try quiet. But boring? You’ve got to be kidding me.
Myth: Taurus is lazy
Reality: Ahhh. . . no. Well, sort of. Taurus takes their time making decisions, which certainly can appear like laziness. When I think about Taureans, I’m always reminded of that thing from science class: bodies in motion tend to stay in motion; bodies in rest tend to stay at rest. That’s Taurus. When they get worked up, the momentum is incredible; they just have to make sure whatever they’re worked up about is worth it.
Myth: Taurus is a hoarder
Reality: Kind of true. Objects make Taurus feel comfortable, and they certainly do get attached to their creature comforts, especially those they see as belonging to them. However, these people really are more connoisseurs, or collectors – every object has a meaning. They would find it distasteful to hold onto everything regardless of worth.
Myth: Taurus is hedonistic
Reality: See above. Taurus may not know the meaning of the word “moderation,” but then again, that’s what makes them interesting. Taureans are, more than anything, decisive – so if they’ve decided that they want something, they’re going all the way.
Myth: Taurus is stubborn
Reality: Taurus is stubborn. Oh, so stubborn. But then again, it’s all relative. If they’re stubborn about having fallen in love with you, but they’re also stubborn about going out to one particular restaurant for your date, they may be able to put things into perspective, given the relative size of their desires. Watch out if they pick the restaurant over you, though. Even in a Taurus, this is a bad sign.
