Virgo
For the Week of March 29, 2009
Dig deeper, Virgo. Or (I did just watch American Beauty, I apologize) – LOOK CLOSER. It’s a week for getting to the heart of things, to what makes you tick on a deep level. You’ll be searching for patterns all week. It may take a few days, but you’ll start to see them. It’s a good time to seek out intellectual encounters, to strike up odd conversations with people you might normally take at face value (not that creepy guy on the train – no, seriously, don’t talk to him).
On a mundane level, it’s a good time for negotiations, a good time for finances, a good time to figure out what’s what and where it’s going. It’s through the mundane encounters that you tend to find your patterns anyway, Virgo, and this week they’ll lead you to some kind of mind-blowing realization.
A teenage girl in a bathtub of rosepetals, I’m not promising. A sense of being part of the greater scheme of things – that much, I can all but guarantee
For the Week of March 22, 2009
I’m guessing that it’s been quite a couple of years for you, Virgo. And it’ll keep on being that way, right up through the end of October this year. You know why? You’ve got Saturn, the taskmaster of the Zodiac, riding your sign, constantly punishing you every time you step out of line, every time you fail to live up to your own high expectations, ever time you seemingly fall short.
This week, though, you’ll find that all of the small details you’ve worried over, lost sleep over, are adding up to something larger, something that pulls you in the direction you’ve been hoping your life would take. Small adjustments will almost definitely be necessary, and it may not be the most comfortable transit - but it's a great chance to reorganize things, to get your ducks in a row.
Sudden fears, particularly concerning loved ones or romantic partnerships (or, on the flip side, someone you may consider to be a rival or an enemy), may strike you towards the beginning of the week, but they should fall off as things continue. Don’t give them too much credence – or, if you have to, think about positive, concrete steps you can take to improve them as the week goes on. That’s the kind of progress that’s going to be rewarded.
For the Week of March 15, 2009
Virgo, you know that part in Little Women where Laurie confesses his love to Jo? By the fence? I know you know what I’m talking about. It kind of sucks, right, but in a delicious way – all of that great romantic tension throughout the book, all of the crazy longing, brought to a head in one perfect moment which, for all intents and purposes, ends one kind of relationship and begins another, though not in the way Laurie might have anticipated (spoiler alert: she doesn’t love him back).
Focus on the transformative quality of these transitions this week. There may be some conflicts regarding your relationships to others – scratch that. There probably will be some conflicts regarding your relationships to others, but it’s all going to be okay. You’re really going to enjoy the fresh start that they afford you, and there’s a certain relief – even for you, Virgo, who likes to control things to the Nth degree – in saying goodbye, sometimes.
Don’t be nitpicky just for the sake of it, though. Try to focus on the bigger picture and the new beginnings it’s about to bring your way. It's time to think about the grand scheme of things, which might not be intuitive to you - but just go with it. Things are about to change for the better.
